1. Colors on Your Screen

Screens render color differently. Monitor calibration, phone display settings and ambient lighting all change how a metal finish or a stone looks. The photographs on this site are a good-faith representation of the item, but a rose gold or an antique oxidized finish can read slightly warmer or cooler in person.

2. Measurements and Finish

Dimensions, stone sizes, carat weights and gauges are given as supplied to us by our manufacturing partner and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerance. Items with a hammered, oxidized or openwork finish vary between pairs by nature — that variation is a property of the finish, not a defect.

3. Materials and Claims

Each product page states the materials for that item as specified by our supplier. Where a finish is a plating over a base metal, we describe it as plated. Where a stone is moissanite, cubic zirconia or a lab grown diamond, we name it as such; these are their own materials and moissanite and cubic zirconia are not diamonds. We hold no independent laboratory certification for any item and we make no certification, grading or assay claim.

4. Metal Sensitivity

Jewelry that touches broken or healing skin can cause a reaction in some people. Nickel is the most common cause of contact allergy in metal jewelry, and plated items may contain nickel in the base metal beneath the plating. We do not describe any item as hypoallergenic or nickel free, because we do not hold testing that would let us say so. If you have a known metal allergy, check the stated materials on the product page and consult a healthcare professional before wearing a new piece. Remove any item that causes irritation.

Do not fit jewelry in a piercing that is new, healing, sore or infected without advice from a professional piercer or a healthcare professional.

5. California Proposition 65

California's Proposition 65 requires warnings on products that expose consumers to listed chemicals. Lead and cadmium are the chemicals most commonly at issue in metal jewelry. We have not carried out Proposition 65 testing on our range and therefore make no statement that any item is free of listed chemicals. California residents who require test documentation before purchasing should contact us at support@noelcrate.com before ordering.

6. Small Parts and Storage

Earrings, backs and ear cuffs are small and are not toys. Keep them away from children under 3 and from pets, and discard packaging films safely.

7. Care

Care guidance on our product pages is general advice, not a guarantee of durability. Plated finishes wear with use, and contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine and salt water shortens their life.

8. Third-Party Links

Where this site links to another website, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content, products or privacy practices.

9. Testimonials and Reviews

We do not currently display customer reviews or testimonials on this site, and we do not publish reviews that are incentivized, purchased or written by us.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here affects rights you have under your state's consumer protection laws.
